Grey Warranty Coverage  

The Grey Warranty is specifically designed for inverters and lithium batteries that are either sold new without a manufacturer warranty that can be locally supported or post-installed units without any type of warranty. This warranty aims to provide comprehensive coverage for these critical components of your solar energy system, ensuring their optimal performance and longevity.

What is Covered: 

1. Inverters and Lithium Batteries: This includes both new and post-installed units up to 48v and 10kw capacity. 

2. Bridging Period: The warranty includes a 6-month or 12-month bridging period, depending on the chosen plan. During this period, claims cannot be made to ensure the equipment is in good working condition. 

3. Repair and Replacement: Coverage includes repairs and, if necessary, replacement of main boards, MPPT boards, control boards, and other critical components. 

4. Deinstallation and Reinstallation: If the equipment needs to be removed for off-site repair, the warranty covers both the deinstallation and reinstallation processes. 

5. Refurbishment: Up to two refurbishments over the warranty period, ensuring your equipment remains in optimal condition. 

6. Call-Outs: One call-out per month for the entire warranty period, which includes troubleshooting and minor repairs. 

7. Telephonic Support: Unlimited telephonic support daily from 8 am to 5 pm to assist with troubleshooting and technical queries.     

Extended Warranty Coverage 

The Extended Warranty is designed for new and post-installed equipment (within 24 months of installation) and aims to extend the manufacturer's warranty period, providing long-term protection and peace of mind.

What is Covered: 

1. Inverters and Lithium Batteries: Coverage extends to equipment up to 48v and 10kw capacity, similar to the Grey Warranty. 

2. Warranty Extension Periods:    

- 3-year extension after a 3-year manufacturer warranty period.    

- 5-year extension after a 5-year manufacturer warranty period. 

3. Repair and Replacement: Coverage includes repairs and replacements for essential components such as main boards, MPPT boards, and control boards. 

4. Deinstallation and Reinstallation: If off-site repairs are required, the warranty covers the costs and logistics of both removing and reinstalling the equipment. 

5. Refurbishment: Up to two refurbishments over the warranty period, similar to the Grey Warranty, ensuring the equipment remains in top condition. 

6. Call-Outs: One call-out per month, covering troubleshooting and minor repairs throughout the extended warranty period. 

7. Telephonic Support: Unlimited daily telephonic support from 8 am to 5 pm for troubleshooting and technical assistance. 

Additional Scenarios Covered: 

- Electrical Failures: Any failure due to electrical faults within the covered components. 

- Component Wear and Tear: Normal wear and tear of covered components that affect performance. 

- Software Updates: Necessary software updates to maintain equipment functionality and efficiency. 

- Environmental Damage: Limited coverage for damage due to environmental factors, provided proper installation and usage guidelines were followed. 

Exclusions: 

- Acts of God: Damage due to natural disasters such as floods, earthquakes, and lightning. 

- Improper Use or Installation: Damage resulting from improper use or installation not performed by NSRC certified technicians. 

- Unauthorized Repairs: Any repairs or modifications carried out by non-authorized personnel void the warranty.
